At about 3 miles from the Camping LidoValderice, you can reach it by the road  SP18.

For more information you can visit the website http://www.aziendasicilianatrasporti.it/

It rises near the Scurati village; it contains a small group of houses that was inhabited until the middle of last century. Now it houses a live nativity scene during the Christmas period, that is considered the best event for the exploitation of Sicilian folk crafts and traditions. In the cave were found traces of human presence from the upper Palaeolithic.

It was so named by the surname of the family who lived there from the 1800 until the end of the last Great Word. Its formation was influenced by the see action that has shaped and further expanded the cavity. It was scientifically studied for the first time by the French paleontologist R. Vaufrey, director of the museum of human paleontology at the University of Paris. He found traces of primitive man in significant discoveries of stone tools, flints worked, bones and teeth of animals and graffiti, many of which are still preserved at the Museum of Trapani and Pepoli Etno Anthropology in Paris.
